Peak Enterprise v1

The first public release of Peak Enterprise. Scope, what is new, what is known.

Peak Enterprise engineeringAugust 6, 2026release, v1

The first public release of Peak Enterprise.

Scope

Storefront, catalog, inventory, orders, customers, payments through Stripe and Square, and the operations layer (purchase orders, fulfilment, basic accounting). Marketing site, signed-in account surface, and merchant admin shipped on the multi-host architecture.

New

  • Multi-channel storefront: a single product catalog publishes to the hosted storefront, marketplace integrations, and the point-of-sale on a per-channel toggle.
  • One source of truth for inventory across every channel, with oversell prevention rather than oversell recovery.
  • Customer identity that survives swapping mailing-list providers, payment providers, and analytics providers.
  • Payments routed through Stripe and Square at their published rates – no platform-side cut.
  • Operations layer: purchase orders, fulfilment workflow, basic accounting that exports cleanly to bookkeepers.
  • Trust posture published on /trust with the specifics, not the marketing version.

Fixed

Nothing – this is the first release.

Breaking changes

None.

Known

  • SOC 2 attestation is in flight, not yet awarded. Trust page carries the current state and will update on the day of report.
  • Transactional email and SMS sub-processors are not yet contracted at general availability. Inbound channels go to plain SMTP and out-of-band notification only until those land.
  • Locales other than English are schema-supported but not seeded.
